TCP wrappers apparently doesn’t recognise sendmail as a SMTP related process. I had to add it to /etc/hosts.allow to get mail delivery working correctly.
Pain and suffering with X
Installing xserver-xgl did me over for about 3 hours today. Not a recommended install for the unwary!
